Monte Lupo Arts is proud to present The Shanty Men at this year’s SWELL Sculpture Festival. These amazing sculptures honour maritime history and the sailor’s tradition of shanty singing. Visitors are invited to sit, listen, and immerse themselves in sailors’ rhymes and stories, blending visual art and sound into a unique multisensory experience.
The Shanty Men are more than sculptures – they are a gathering place. They bring people together across generations, celebrating resilience, connection, and the joy of sharing songs.
Our Artists
